Egypt can't fight war. They don't have any resources. Iran can fight a war independently without any help. Soviets had to help egypt and egypt still lost. The whole war including the soviets and the U.S was against Iran during the iran-Iraq war. Iran endured for 8 years and still survived. israel can invade egypt 100 times in 8 years if they want to.
