Using Outlook Express, you can sneak a peak at the contents of an email without actually opening it and without subjecting your pc to possible malware or spammer tricks.

  • very good but you can do that a lot easier by downloading mailwasher.... that allows me to read the text before downloading it onto my computer... or i just mark it to be deleted and the sender blacklisted.

  • Gerry471,

I don't like to download and install any more programs than I absolutely have to. For me, it's a fair trade-off to do it manually. I must just be old-school or maybe a control freak : ^ )

    Thanks for the comment!

  • can i buy your mouse?

  • Satbir15,

I'm assuming you like my mouse because of the visual clicks. The truth is, it's an ordinary Microsoft Optical mouse but the capture software I use makes the visual mouse cues happen. I use a free program called Cam Studio and it has an option to show the mouse clicks as circles like that.

But I'd be happy to sell you my generic old mouse though .... ; ^ )

    Thanks for the comment.

  • lmfao, you know that cimment is 10 mounth old, you must be a turtle =P

  • yep, I saw that before I answered. I've been away because of a work promotion. You're right tho - I'm a turtle.... lol.

  • Buy 1,000,000 email addresses @ emailbuyer.co.uk for just $100!

  • lol, well congratz on the premotion, although if you where away for that long, it would be a downgrade =P

  • Timetraveller2208 - that's a good point too. Even though most spammers send out their junk under random names, it's still a good idea to block any sender that you receive spam from. Thanks for the comment!

  • Hi, I just want to add that when i get a suspect email, and having done the same as you to read it. I then go to Message -> Block Sender. It deletes it and as it say's blocks the sender.
