Xbox 360 controllers ARE NOT Region Locked. All of Datel's controllers can be used on any Xbox 360. These aren't yet available in stores, as far as we know, so you'll have to order online.

The TurboFire EVO and WildFire EVO are the same exact controller. Datel markets their controllers at WildFire in Europe and as TurboFire in North America. The only thing that is different is the name on the packaging.

PRESETS AND PROFILES:

These are "Profiles" setup by DATEL for the Customizer Features taylored to a specific game, playing style or gametype. As of Customizer version 1.1 there are two presets, one for Battlefield 3 and another for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

You can create, save and load your own "Profiles" that you've made using the Customizer EVO program.

FEATURE ICON CAMOUFLAGE / BACKGROUNDS:

As of version 1.1 there are a total of 18 different backgrounds you can use for the Feature icons. As of yet, you cannot create your own background images.

COMBO SEQUENCES:

The Combo Sequences feature allows you to assign a sequence of pre-programmed controller commands to a single button. You are limited to the selection of games and combos found within the program. You have select up to 18 Combo Sequences for use at any given time on on the controller.

SNIPER MODE:
You can use the Sniper Mode to fine tune the X&Y Axis of the left and right analog sticks. Slow down or speed up the sway of the Analog Sticks.

RAPID FIRE / AUTOFIRE:

Using the RapidFire or AutoFire feature you can adjust the repeat rate at which your controller buttons will fire when held or toggle it to fire automatically. Use the slider to pick the rate that works best depending on the game you are playing. There are 8 different speeds.

You can set the RapidFire or AutoFire to the following buttons: A, B, X, Y, LS, LB, LT, RS, RB, RT, START and BACK. In order to use the turbo on the D-PAD you have to REMAP the D-PAD button(s) to another button that can be programmed to the turbo. Datel stated they would add D-PAD buttons to these Features so that this doesn't have been done using remapping.

LOW RECOIL:
The Low Recoil feature allow you to adjust the strength of the rumble motors in your controller.

REMAP:
Using the Button Remapping feature allows you to simply and easily change what each button on your controller does. As of 1.1 this can be used to remap the D-PAD to a button that can be se to the Rapid Fire or Auto Fire so you can TURBO any of the D-PAD buttons, as previously described.

You can remap the following buttons: LT, LB, LS, RB, RT, RS, A, B, X, Y, and the D-PAD (Up, Down, Left and Right) to one another.

Y-AXIS REVERSE:
Use the Y-Axis Reverse feature to invert the Y-Axis (up and down) on either the left or right analog stick.

SENSITIVITY:
You can adjust the sensitivity of both the left and right analog sticks and also the left and right triggers.

LEFT HANDED MODE:
Left handed mode allows you to swap over the main groups of buttons for left handed players.

Swapping Options:
D-PAD buttons with A, B, X and Y.
Left and Right Analog Sticks.
Left and Right Triggers and Bumper Buttons.

CUSTOM IMAGE:
Use the custom image feature to upload your own image to be displayed on the controller screen. The images can be either PNG or JPG format files but they must be at least 160 pixels across by 128 pixels high.

  • it's verry big and it shoot's pretty slow

  • @hyperxilegend

Big? You must be use to the kiddo controllers from Pelican and Madcatz.

Pretty slow? The EVO has 8 different speeds to choose from but it's really only going to be fast if the game allows for the use of a Turbo controller on whatever it is you are trying to turbo.

If there is an in game firing rate cap, then choose one of the 8 speeds that falls just under the cap without setting it off. Then again, some games have an automatic firing rate limit no matter what.

  • Did they fix the thumb sticks? Like when you run on Cod you know how you have to push the thumb stick up, and push it at the same time?

    Did they fix that?

The older model made it a hassle to run in cod/bf

  • @DAT23MAN

There is nothing stopping you from being able to run in Call of Duty with the Datel EVO or past Datel controllers.

If you are referring to the grip, or somewhat lack thereof, on the smooth concave surface of the Turbofire 2, it's exactly the same on the EVO, as seen in the video.

We continue to recommend stick covers, such as the GRIP IT for getting a better grip on the controller. You can still run without them, but we definitely recommend them for the added stability.

  • @playinghalotoday nah, I mean like if you were to grab a turbo fire controller, push the thumb stick up as if you were walking forward in a game, and push down on the thumb stick it will like get stuck and not push down. That makes it hard to sprint in fps games.

  • @DAT23MAN

Once again, there is nothing stopping you from running in Call of Duty using the EVO. Whether you start out running from a stationary position or if you were already moving. The controller doesn't jam up and the game doesn't jam up either. It's no different than using an OEM controller from Microsoft. The only issue is the grip and the GRIP IT easily corrects it.

Although we don't have a TurboFire 2 anymore, I do not recall ever having that problem on that controller model either.
