@maceek1 I knew Dimebag, Everytime they came to Philadelphia, they would visit certain clubs that I was a bouncer at, So I got to them all at Various Times during there Carer.

Dime was one of the most down to earth guys & it was my Honor to hang with him when ever they came to Philadelphia, PA.

Ive heard of pantera, but ive never really listened to their music. i grew up listening to rock n metal of 60s 70s 80s. Watching this video brought alot of sadness and as i type this i cant help holding back the tears. Dime was murdered very similar to how my rock idol was. Unexpected and not knowing exactly why! I read that Dime's murderer was an upset fan who was devestaded because of Panteras breakup. My idol was taken from us by a lunatic fan too. And my idol, who i speak of is JOHN LENNON

i did not get the pleasure of listenin to pantera at the prime....i only got to know them a year or two after dime's death but they got me thru really hard times and kept me doin stupid shit....they say metal is for the devil.....addiction is for the devil....and pantera kept me from doin that....Dime's guitar playin inspired me to pick up a guitar.....cause i feel at ease...and close to him when i play....R.I.P Dimebag Darrell Abbott 1966 - 2004 your memory will never be forgotten brother
