@ManMythandMirth Actually SSVC and previously BFBS is a channel which offers the best of UK TV live and recorded to british forces serving in Europe mixed with their own programmes and announcer links.

It was - SSVC stands for Services Sound and Vision Corporation, a not for profit station who broadcast english channels to military barracks and army houses in foreign countries.
As you can see from the test card at the end, this was from Germany before the fall of the Berlin wall.
