Super Mario 64 70 Star Non-Glitch, Non-Tas, Speed Run - 1:09:32

This is yet another speed run of Super Mario 64. This run was done on the wii virtual console on December 18th, 2011 with a gamecube controller. I do not use glitches or tool assists of any kind. I am currently in the process of getting my record validated by twin galaxies. Mcineri did this speed run but extinctforyoursins youtube account (Mcineri's brother) can upload videos longer than 15 minutes. Please enjoy the video. 6. I just like playing the game, its not too dead for me. therefore, i play it and i happen to be pretty good. apparently at one point i might have had the glitchless record, but it seems as though sickolsben has it now.

7. i dont actually like TG, they just happen to verify speed runs, as do several other sites which i also sent my video too. I just use their guidelines to ensure a glitchless run

2. I mean, I keep hearing people tell me about siglemic and all of them, but i honestly dont care.

3. I kinda just started speedrunning this game about a year ago, and i really havent put nearly enough time into it to be as good as others who do glitch runs or any other type of run. If i really feel like putting the time in, i will.

go to speed runs live if you are actually serious about speedrunning and not just trying to capitalize on TGs lack of up to date SM64 records. Watch streams and learn

Not trying to make you feel bad or anything but there are people out there who are a LOT better than you and if they cared to do a no glitch run would dominate your time. TG is a pretty shitty organization and most legit speedrunners don't give a shit about TG.

sicko was purposely dying and playing badly. Look up Nero, Honey, or Siglemic to see the current best SM64 speedrunners. I mean you did a lot better than I could but it's honestly funny watching this vid after seeing sig and nero play

To anyone watching this video. user SickolsBen has submitted a video beating this time by about 2 minutes. I watched the whole thing and it seems very legit. Looks like I have somone to compete with. He does some crazy stuff that is way above my level, I'll see if I can do it. Check out his youtube page for the video, it's pretty wild.

@Insetik47 yah ive seen it. there's a few parts where i really don't know how he could have done it without "breaking" something in the game, but i think he's just really realy good. looks like ive got something to strive for. hopefully ill have a lot more time now that ive graduated from college and such. only been able to do the five videos i have on here in the past year or so. i say bring it, its fun having someone be really good at the game as well. And it makes me work harder.
