Love your dogs! Question: How large is the enclosure? Is that how big your yard is or is the fence strictly for the dogs? I want to own an Affie one day.

The fenced area is about 1/2 of an acre. Fencing is a must have since these hounds are not your typical Lab: they need lots of exercise (RUNNING) to remain physically and mentally healthy AND they are not easy to train for recall. When they are running they don't even know their own name ;-). If you'd like to own one someday it would be a good idea to visit some dog shows and talk to the exhibitors and breeders. These dogs aren't for everyone - but I'd never have anything else :-)!

Wow - so beautiful! Is it possible to keep this ''puppy cut'' when they are older & their puppy fur grows out? I just love how they look with their fur like this! Ari has the most wonderful colouring & markings doesn't he!? Have you trained him to come / stay etc? Any tips?
