A first choice livery, thomson airways flight from Gatwick to Barbados. Landing in Barbados we made a pretty bad landing and i dont know why because the weather was fine. There is no video for the return flight because first choice double booked our seats and we were sat in the middle, I was gutted :( Also notice the reverse thrust did'nt kick in for a long time! 06/01/09.

  • its the fact the gear lean foward

  • @Aviationnation10 I know, the 767 tends to be a hard 1 to make it land smoothly! Its really common that they land like this, it just seems really rough from in the cabin!

  • I think generally the 767 tends to touch down a bit hard, that's what I've heard. It's not the most graceful plane out there

  • @danielfisher94 yeah, thats what I've noticed since.

  • i see this planes enterin barbados all the time where exactly those it come from?

  • @xavier19062 Its in the description mate, Gatwick, which is London.

  • Wow it landed so hard!!!

  • @cjxmc Haha that happened to us on an excel flight from Majorca to Gatwick, every one screamed, it was foggy and my god the landing was hard!

  • Lol when we went to St.Lucia (BA2158) the landing was so hard oxygen masks came down and the emergency lighting came on

  • that was so ILS....

  • DID WE LAND OR WERE WE SHOT DOWN

  • it could be cross winds.

  • I think he let the plane have its head from about 30 feet !

  • thomson have a target touchdown, the pilot must aim to touchdown at between 100fpm and a max of 400fpm

  • @rachaelmatt it comes from all over the u.k., they have flights from bristol, manchester etc every week during peek season.

  • Not a good day for the pilot/copilot lol
