Actually a lawsuit was filed to force NASA GISS to release documents to reveal James Hansen’s outside income-producing activities which have brought him at least $1.2 million in the past four years alone. Documents being sought reveal noncompliance with federal ethics and disclosure regulations, and with NASA Rules of Behavior.

So babble all you want with your Dunning Kruger "facts". I sure hope the entire Democrat Party gets sued down the road for Trillions in wasted tax dollars.

CO2 just passed the 400 ppm mark but right-trash keeps babbling about "nonsense" because right-trash only cares about short term money.

Babble all you want with your Dunning Kruger "facts" but I sure hope the entire GOP gets sued down the road for all their devious nitpicking to delay any real action on this problem.

You wonder why this isn't on the front page of every newspaper everywhere, every day.

Currently, CO2 levels are the highest in 3-5 million years. We're kind of screwed.

    "Stop trying to sound scientific"

I love it -- does anyone need more proof that AGW pseudo-science is a pack of lies with no basis in real science? Now we're supposed to set aside our scientific understanding and stoop to the level of ad hominems and mud-slinging used by the political activists who are attempting to force us to swallow their load of nonsense.

This is EASILY demonstrated by recognizing incoming solar radiation exceeds 1360 W/m2 while outgoing radiation from Earth's surface is only about 235 W/m2. In fact, more radiation is REFLECTED by the atmosphere than is emitted by Earth's surface. Think about that for a minute NoEcologyNoEconomy, and investigate for yourself. Stop trusting propaganda sites like RealClimate & SkepticalScience and seek out some real science (start with Gerlich & Tscheuschner 2007, 2009).

I do know full well that the lack of density of the Martian atmosphere helps keep CO2 from creating a significant GHE. However, it is equally important to recognize CO2 has poor absorption characteristics. If you choose to ignore scientific facts, then your science isn't very good. You'd be like AGW Warmists who think +34 ppmv of CO2 (added by 500 GTOE fossil fuel consumption) can produce a significant GHE. Perhaps you actually investigated AGW pseudo-science yourself? What papers have you read?

Great, NoEcologyNoEconomy - you understand WHY CO2 does not warm Mars. You are only one step away from understanding why CO2 does warm Venus. What is the atmospheric pressure on the surface of Venus? You're a chemist, so what is the significance of those 92 atmospheres? Correct: because it exceeds the critical point, it makes CO2 a super-critical fluid with properties of both gas and liquid. How does this impact surface temperature on Venus? C'mon, you're a scientist, aren't you?
