An outtake from the Caribou album, recorded in Colorado, USA, January 1974. Obviously this recording was never finished - there's no piano track, and the instrumental section is lacking a solo instrument! We can try to imagine what the solo should have been ... electric guitar? saxophone? Ray Cooper on a duck whistle ....? In any case, this is a rare gem - a little left-over from the Caribou sessions, back in Elton's career peak. The lyrics are included in the video (for your sing-a-long enjoyment!), and I have altered some of the lyrics from what has been previously been published (on eltonography.com for example), based on what I hear! Because the song was never officially published the lyrics are a bit unclear - do your best!
The Photo at the end should have been the Caribou Album cover!

Yet another hidden treasure. Thank you for that, RonnieFriend. I agree with the comment below regarding Hercules, some drum parts are a bit similar too. Maybe that was the reason the song wasn't finished.
