The Dassault Rafale is a French twin-engined delta-wing highly agile multi-role 4.5th-generation jet fighter aircraft designed and built by Dassault Aviation. Introduced in 2000, the Rafale is being produced both for land-based use with the French Air Force and for carrier-based operations with the French Navy. It has also been marketed for export to several countries but has not yet received orders.

Recently Libia and Brazil signed contratcs to have the Rafale for their Air Forces

  • The best choice for India! The Rafale is far better than the Eurofighter in air combats (check the Swiss report). The Rafale can target ground units (Eurofighter still can't). The rafale can carry and fire nuclear weapons (Indian is a nuclear power). Last but not least, the Rafale can land and take off from a carrier and India will soon have a carriers (of course Eurofighter CAN'T use a carrier). Good job Frenchies. It's the best plane available (the F22 is cancelled and the F35 is a quagmire).

  • @eurosceptic1 rafale is better than the eurofighter, and it's not so expensive.

  • @justincgs Unfortunately, Canada will never give up the JSF program . Why ? Because all the canada economy depend of the U.S. The link betwenn Ottawa and Washington are too strong . But If canada give up JSF, your gouvenment will buy F18 Super Hornet but they will never buy Rafale or Typhonn. It's politicaly impossible to buy an european aircraft fighter for your country.

  • @ctulluh50 , non tu confond, le Raptor a une invisibilité passive grâce aux matériaux RAM dont il est fait mais a une attaque active... le Rafale a l'exacte opposé.

  • @justincgs true, Bombardier would love to manufacture the Rafale since they want to become a major aeronautical company.

  • @eurosceptic1 lmao, if you don't know about something, don't argue dude. Look on google for the test made by/for the Swiss Air Force where they compare the capabilities of the Typhoon, the Rafale, and the Gripen. You'll see that on ALL the test, the rafale had the best note (there wasn't even one thing where the Typhoon was at least equal to the Rafale). If you don't find it I can pm you a link maybe.

  • @brazenward I'm no kid! Just passionate about Eurocanards in general and VERY ANGRY and AGAINST the JSF program. As a Canadian I'm very much AGAINST Canada purchasing the JSF. I would much rather see Canada do what India is going to do with Dassault. We could have Rafale manufacture in Canada at Bombardier. We would get a lot more offshoot jobs etc than with the bloody JSF program and we would end up with a better machine... IMHO

  • @justincgs I wasn't arguing for or against the Rafale versus the eurofighter or the capabilities of paveway or my dad was harder than his dad.I'll leave that to you kids. I was just informing him that what he wrote was rubbish..

  • @brazenward and? Are you aware of the French SBU-38 AASM !?! It OUTPERFORMS ANY of the Paveway armaments.

  • @chrissoubibi What rubbish the eurofighter is equiped to use paveway 500lb bombs and paveway II & III lgb...If you can't quote correct info don't bother

  • it was good to calm down the fans of typhoon, he (EF) would not do better than the F22, far from it, which was not terrible in this simulation in the UAE.

  • that's good in dogfight, the F 22 in BVR has a capacity of passive detection incredible, but also the rafale less range.
