I'm sure that the visuals and sound were shot separately. Obviously, the music and playing is out of sync. It has to do with the technical limitations of the time.

I'm so tired of people retroactively calling anything daring or edgy or original "punk". Punk can be a very limiting term.

you know, you're kinda of a douche. I gave out a compliment to david bowie and then you just shit on it for no reason excpet to pretend to look more intelligent that you probably actually are. One fucking simple compliment and you for whatever reason felt compelled to insult me.

Stop whining. You made an idiotic comment that I disagreed with. Big fucking deal. No one insulted you. If you can't handle being disagreed with in a comment on YouTube, you should close your account and go on medication.

he has said as much. Why do you think he decided tyo seek out Lou Reed to produce Transformer when his career was going nowhere after the Velvet Undergound. Lou and the VU were a huge influence on Bowie, and he never claimed otherwise.

He did this partially as a tribute to lou reed, though he actually based this off of three steps to heaven by eddie cochran

He is also still doing some great acting from time to time. I adored him as Nikola Tesla in the film the Prestige.

David still puts out great new records and tours quite a bit, doing both new and classic material. He is an innovator in the use of multimedia, did a collaborative tour with Nine Inch Nails, he has a very unique & constantly updated website which he takes more of a part in than some may think, and is constantly looking to the future in bold ways. Has he put out a record that compares to Hunky Dory or Rise & Fall? Probably not, but those records were so different and so needed at the time.
