Robert Byrd is as sharp as anybody that's even had the honour of entering the Senate. Irrespective of his physical condition these days, and the fact his attendance on the floor of the Senate is less and less, he still remains an institution himself. I've never seen anybody strive to uphold the Constitution the way he has over the years.

Really you are full off shit, this senator HAS to defend his age because of the media that accuses him of not earnign his government pay because of this fact. I actually believe this senator is genuinly involved in the issues of the american nation and cares about the problems and the future of this great nation.
