Donovan (Robert Downey Jr.) and Evelyn (Evangeline Lilly) have a complicated friendship, one that led to something more making things both better and worse between them. Knowing what they had couldn't last, Donnie was still caught off guard when Evelyn announced she was going back to her former husband, and the news turns his world upside down. They begin arguing, and Evelyn wonders if getting involved with Donnie wasn't a mistake after all. In the end, she remarries her ex, wishing that Donnie put a stop to it after all. He doesn't, and his jealousy and remorse consumes him, leading him to a bar where he tells the entire story to a total stranger: Jasper (Jake Gyllenhaal). In the final scene, Jasper asks "So what did you ever do about it?" and Donnie replies "Nothing".

I was about to say, I've never seen a movie with this song." The only movie that played one of Damien's song is Closer, which is how I started listening to Damien.

this video reminds me of myself and a friend that I loved. The part that hit me the most is when the guy asks Downey Jr. "what did you ever do about it?" and he says "Nothing".
We wish for things/people, crib about not having them and we want them any way we can but we never really do anything about it. I still remember when she said "You WANTED to love or take care of me, but don't hate or blame me when someone else came and did that, because you just WANTED and never ACTUALLY did."

I think this video is amazing. I think the compilation has been done amazingly! I love Damien Rice, and the way he puts so much intensity and emotion into his lyrics, the way he says each and every word!
