The second annual Bi-National Yoga Class inside of Friendship Circle, a cement circle that unites the two countries through the border fence. We are on Friendship Monument right next to the Pacific Ocean, Playas de Tijuana and Border Field State Park. Here we're well into the class doing Warrior II pose. Yoga means union, so this was an ideal place to practice
You stupid moron; The Soviets used the fence to keep people in, we use them to keep people out who don't obey the law.

This video is really AWESOME.. but sad and thought-provoking at the same time. I love the unity your video shows. I dislike the wall and fence that separates human beings. =(
I was there the other day and saw families visiting each other from their sides of the fence.. little girls whose grandmother can't hold or hug them. Then there was a family set up on the beach having a picnic -- half on one side and half on the other. =(

As someone who lived in the USSR, I am deeply saddened to see America adopt all of the worst aspects of the former Soviet Union. The freedom of America was a great ideal held by the rest of the enslaved world. Now, America is busy building its own "Iron Curtain." The Soviet rationale was to keep out terrorists and counter-revolutionaries, but the same fences were quickly used to enslave a population. Why is this country making the same mistakes? I am glad to see a group try to bring healing.
