@des696969 that's exactly the point i'm trying to make. I see the heisman as more of a MVP award than anything, and reggie, while i'll agree was indispensable to usc, doesn't compare to the value VY had to texas. That said, I would've picked reggie over any other player IN THE DECADE. (That includes Tebow, who I don't think is as great as people let on) If I wasn't such a hardhead when it comes to texas, I would really appreciate reggie

@BiggerBango reggie was never forced to perform was because that usc team was much stronger to the point where they were never put in that kind of jam to begin with compared to texas.. I'm not disagreeing with you though personally I feel reggie should of got the heisman over leinart in 04 and vy gets it in 05.. Both were deserving imo and it's a shame both of them had probably the most insane highlights college football has ever seen.

@des696969 but he never pulled his team out of situations like this on a regular basis. sure, they had the leinart push, but other than that game, give me one instance in which reggie was forced to perform amazingly because the rest of his team wasn't consistent?

@Jim62787 yeah seriously im from austin and i watched vince young in like 5th grade and thought he was the best player ever and he was for college level but now his legs are gone he cant make those plays because defenses wont let him but still he can throw pretty damn well
