As the economy crumbles, homelessness, crime, and foreclosures are rising at an alarming rate in NYC. There has been increase in auto thefts in the city by smashing open windows and stealing car radios. Desperate New Yorkers are also selling their cars in order to make ends meet. Homes are being foreclosed and millions of people are left with no choice but to stay at shelters throughout the city.
