McGoohan plays a gung-ho newbie prison guard and finds himself in internal conflict after having an affair with the wife of a condemned man, played by Sylvia Syms. (1962)
The lovely Sylvia Simms looks like she's admiring the way McGoohan's hair curls on the back of his neck. She's worked with all the greats. McGoohan, John Mills, Tony Hancock to name but a few. Incidentally, Mills and Hancock would have made excellent Number 2's! BCNU.

Sylvia Syms was very good as the confusing colleen. Slept with the warder too....or did she? Shades of "Monsters Ball".
