Since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, loss has become synonymous
with life here. Now Catholic Churches are being closed throughout the
city, adding to the pain and frustration for those who contributed so much to these parishes. During the next hour you will hear from Sarah Comiskey, Director of Communications for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and parishioners from two of the closed churches, Our Lady of Good Counsel and St. Henry's. In addition, we will look at the
controversy surrounding the sale and demolition of St. Frances Cabrini Church.
