Calm the fuck down people. Muslim society or not prostitution happens everywhere and is known as the 'oldest profession.' Even during the Prophet's time there are stories of prostitutes (Ie the one who was granted Jannah for feeding a dog/not peeing during the athan).
The difference between a just society and an unjust one is what the just one does to address the reasons

Therefore the problem many people have with prostitution in muslim society is that when it is talked about, it's hushed up by folks acting holier-than-thou and ends in verbal attacks on the accuser. Muslim prostitutes are at the edge of society and are basicly without rights even more than "normal" muslim women. If she is raped, she brought on herself and cannot even expect a hearing.
