  • those 'japs' make better cars

  • The reason why they are in trouble is because they are not selling, the reason they are not selling is because the consumer has no money to buy these cars. If you wanna help the auto industry then help the consumers and don't just blindly throw money at the CEO's of these companies.

  • Well...one year later we see that Obama saved the auto industry, saved a million jobs in the process, and we're being paid back.

    OBAMA 2012!

  • and Meanwhile all the work is going to CHINA!!

  • I was disappointed when we lost but what should I expect? Bush ran the deficit to the ground and a very lousy communicator. I just hope now the republicans work to conserve our money while, it's being obvoise, the democrates spend it or "invest it".

About the union vote, I can see reasons for having unions. But I also realize the government favors them over small business. I don't see the government bailing out Starbucks, Wal-Mart.

  • Yea! I was disappointed in Toyota when the WSJ reported that they were seeking government aid as well.

  • You are a die hard Republican right?

Just tell the truth you are pissed off that you lost the election because of the union vote.

  • Its OK for the government to pander to the rich, but if workers ban together the government should forget them.

  • Obama says only US auto industries is vital because Nissan and Toyota are being bailed out by their own government. The unions are and have been giving give backs even before the financial system crashed.

  • I do believe the Government is screwing us all. But what it especially cares about are Michigan and Ohio because they bolth hold a number of electoral votes, large number of unions workers. Make the union workers happy, you'll get re-elected.

  • I think the union is partially responsible for the poor economy. If not, then Why does Obama conitinue to say the american auto industries jobs are vital to the nation when Nissan and Toyota are also loosing employees and nothing is said about it?
