I just felt inspired and decided to give it a whirl :)
Not that I could ever sing as well as Mariah
But I can give it a try :P

Feel free to share it with your fellow stans :) Mwah!

  • That whistle at the end (if it was real) was Ah-MAZING. jelly.

  • @jasonbowtiee

Thanks :) and of course it'seal, this is a 1-take live acapella recorded with my tiny voice recorder.

  • Your voice is powerful, your headvoice/falsetto wasn't really great but at the end, that was a bomb :) OMG

  • @petervu

Thanks for listening, this is head voice though, no falsetto here ;)

I shall upload a video showing how I slide from the low register up to the upper register without any breaks or cracks as it would happen if one tried to go from chest or middle to high falsetto.

Yes indeed, it's whistle register, up to C7 in this clip

  • was that whistle at the end?!!

  • @MarryTheNightReplay

Thanks for listening, indeed the timbre of my voice is an acquired taste, but I have many timbres and I am able to comfortably sing in any tessitura from bass-baritone to high light tenor (and stretch up to high soprano or down to bass, but it's an extension instead of natural tessitura).

What I consider my "true voice" is more in the lyric baritone/dramatic tenor range when I sing more classical, such as in this recording:

  • @primohomme personally I don't like the timbre and tessitura of your voice, but that's just me, and it should be obvious to anyone that you are beyond very skilled in singing. That Soprano C belt was amazing, I honestly don't know any other man who can do that.

One thing though, it sometimes sounds like your mix belting is kind of heady, but you take Bel Canto too, so I guess I'm not surprised.

It still sounds amazing though :)
