@Bellantoni thanks
-
@ilikepreludes The Gypsy Princess by Imre Kalman. But there's no piano version of it on youtube except here. All the others are the original opera version.

whats the name of the waltz at 2.40?
-
what was the name of that waltz he started playing?
-
The way he said "and you love to listen" at 3:57 sounded scary LOL
-
@lefaguais maybe he meant it in a way that Horowitz plays the piano with such energy and intensity that u can actually feel it (love) exuding from the sounds he gets out of the piano,
-
Does anyone know the song Horowitz started playing at 3:12?
-
@danieljy Yes, I am american, and I still think it was a stupid question.
-
@lefaguais You must not be American. If you were, you'd understand the nuance of American English -- that is a completely valid question in the way he asked it - it's rhetorical. It's not meant to be a real question - it's meant as a bridge into a discussion of his love for the piano.

Horowitz is such a chill guy!
I LOVE HOROWITZ!
And the interviewer... so lousy... `Do you like to play the piano?`... If I was Vladimir, I would have answered `no, I love to play the violin`. Sometimes I wonder what people have inside their heads.
