COBURWAS (standing for Congolese, Burundese, Ugandan, Rwandan, Sudanese) is a club in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Uganda. They promote education and fundraise by offering services such as digging and filling potholes, and then put the money back into the community through their projects. They have a tutoring program, rent out a hostel for students in a nearby town to stay in, and are now constructing an orphanage in Kyangwali (a project supported by Think Humanity (www.thinkhumanity.org)). Here, Yaya Donals directs part of their choir singing "Eric," a song written about Eric Glustrom, the founder of Educate!. Educate! provides for the education and well-being of many COBURWAS leaders and members (www.educateafrica.org).
