according to a rather oddly supportive sounding report in the Daily Mail, Assange walked in dressed in black with a guy Fawkes mask which he was ordered to remove, "broke through" the police line and "fought" his way through the crowd. This is like some bizarre Monty Python sketch.

@JoeChapmanUK I personally didn't see him enter, but he had two bodyguards with him so it couldn't have been too much trouble. The police were actually fairly tame. My initial thought was that they were being extra nice so they don't give the movement any fire.
