How is that I have only just discovered this fabulous singer? I love the crooners and I am so sorry to have missed so many good years of Jerry's pure magic singing.

@cammicty IMO he was better then either of them. he was in a class with Tony Bennett and Jimmy Roselli! That is the very top!

At he risk of sounding heretical, It could be said that Vale is the better singer of the entire Sinatra crew including Dino. The thing of it is that Jerry Vale lacked that special ingrediant that sets some folks apart. Frank had it, Harry James had it, Mario Lanza had it , Sidney Poitier has it, Liberace had it and among many other greats even Charo has it. The good news is no one on the planet can sing an Italian song as good as Jerry Vale.

As a 64 year old in Singapore, I can really identify with the lyrics of this lovely song. This song brings back a ton of memories.
Jerry Vale is a truly superb singer. I've enjoyed his songs for a few decades now. Thank you very much for posting this.
