Brimstone Presents: Ace Combat 4 Mission 1 (Sitting Duck)

Time for a style change. I'm taking a break from Ys to bring you guys something entirely different from the norm here at OGS. This is Ace Combat 4, one of my favorite PS2 games and can be considered the Grand Tarismo of Arial combat games as this and the games after it set a new set of Standards for the genre. This episode I will be tackling the first mission and we will be watching the first cut-scenes of the game.

Can't wait for the rest of them, I played Ace Combat 6, my first Ace Combat game, and thought it was great! Loved the notes you put up too!

@XSirSnacksalotX I plan to post a AC4 video at least once a day until I finish the game. you can expect at least 15 more videos at the least. I'm afraid I haven't got the chance to play Ace Combat 6 yet. I only have the 3 PS2 games. How is it?

Ace combat. I love the series. I haven't played this one yet though. Looks good and you fly good

@Bleachfan119 Thanks for the compliment! I always considered myself decent at this game since I've played quite a few times but I've seen some crazy good ace combat players out there. I am glad there are other fans of the series around here besides myself. As for the quality, expect it got get even better by Mission 9 since that's when I found a truly HD quality format to use.

I wish they had this on the Xbox 360, I miss this game so badly.. it was one of the best PS2 games I've ever played.

Notice how the birds fly at the beginning of the game. Its as an omen to Mobius 1. A beacon of light amidst the darkness. I also like how the briefing music gives the player a sense of urgency due to ISAF's bleak circumstances.

@OtakuGamingSociety It's a really good game! I can't really compare it to the others since I haven't played them, but I found the game very fun! The story isn't bad, the missions are cool and varied, and the multiplayer is a blast, if you can find someone else playing online! With Ace Combat Assualt Horizon coming out soon, I don't know if you would want to get it now, but it's still one of my favorite games to play!
