Chris Matthews is possibly the biggest tool on tv. He's a lazy journalist, has very little insight and few if any original thoughts on politics.

odd: funny you've got a problem with caps, but then go on to use hyperbole without caps. McCain is in fact a moderate; what you've been hearing is McCain pandering to keep his base content. An unfortunate necessity of politics.
Is Obama far Left? Well, gee...I don't know! I don't know what he is. He's brand new on the scene, no voting record to go by (and what little there is, is very liberal). So, lets look at who he surrounds himself with. Oops! Don't want to look there, now do we?
