UPDATE - 13 March 2008
I am thrilled to see that Dennis Prager talks with a liberal about the environment is now #3 when you search for 'Dennis Prager' on Youtube.com

Thanks for all the comments, I never knew this little video would become as easily accessible as it now is for people trying to find Prager content.

An especially interesting call from a radical liberal about how "Bad" Dennis Prager is. Dennis answers skillfully, check out Dennis Prager's website: http://pragerradio.com

  • @MsZeitgeist85 What was being stated to the public at the time was global cooling. That's why I referred to publications that were provided to the public, not scientific journals. Here is some history for you: In ~1850 there was global warming as a mini-ice age after 500 years came to an end. What did that have to do w/carbon emissions? Nothing. In fact the Earth has experience warming and cooling ALWAYS for 4.6 billion years before we humans ever existed. Get your head out of your ass.

  • @Aegius 2008 was a drop from 2007 which was very hot. 2010 was tied with 05 as the hottest year on record. 8 of the 10 hottest years on record were from 2000-2010

Were any of those peer reviewed studies? NO. Again that is what counts in science not pop culture.

Remove your head from your ass.

  • @Aegius

Anytime their belief's propagated by rotten values fails in their plain sight, it's always blamed on a lie from the right. It's no wonder so many left of center suffer from depression. Can you imagine living in such a morphing, conditional, abstract sense of reality?

If I was a liberal, I'd have long sense either blown my own head off or died of an overdose.

It's really sad for them. They're like a mob moving from paranoia to paranoia, each actually less than a generation long.

  • @MsZeitgeist85 The Cooling World. Newsweek, April 28, 1975. Newsweek predicting global cooling. In fact from 1940 to 1979 temperatures were decreasing according to the Climate Research Unit at the Univ. of East Anglia. 2008 saw the greatest year to year temperature drop ever (128 years of NASA GISS data). globalcooling (dot) org

  • @TheJediCharles Now they are saying that studies showed that global warming was the big prediction, but the big buzz from major publications was about global cooling. Apparently the public was lied to about global cooling claims and now we are supposed to believe in global warming after having been lied to about global cooling. It's ridiculous.

  • @MsZeitgeist85 Go to their website and see for yourself that they are genuine scientists and not a fringe group of nutjobs. Newsweek, Time, The NY Times and National Geographic published articles in the 1970's about global cooling & the possibility of a new ice age, but not the possibility of global warming. Global cooling was the big buzz during the 1970's, not global warming despite contemporary studies. Should I trust the claims of global warming, b/c we were lied to about global cooling?

  • @Aegius

    EXACTLY!

It is utterly ASTONISHING how many old hippies who rant on about global warming can't remember that. Oh, I believe they DO remember it, but embarrassment causes selective memory.

  • @Aegius Look up March 2008 American Meteorogical Society publication of the 71 peer reviewed studies from 1965-79. In this 7 predeicted cooling, 20 were neutral and 44 predicted warming.

  • @Aegius I have heard about the so called 32K scientists and it is a fraud.

    Watch : 32000 Scientists by Greenman3610

So yes the very few scientists that still question climate change ARE a fringe minority.

  • @Aegius check 1965 to 1979, global cooling.
