Hey everyone, CinnamonPunch uploaded this song on her page like a year ago, but I've gotten a lot of requests for the lyrics, so here they are.

For download info, etc., check out CinnamonPunch's video with the song at http://youtu.be/g8QMizp_ZEA

LYRICS:
Heart drifting on like the words of the wind
Born from a dream, born from within
Voice carried on with the clouds in the sky
Brilliantly sound in harmony

Moon's tender light through the dark gently weave
Calm like the night, cold like the sea
Stars slowly fall from the sky to my dreams
Tears overflow in loneliness

Wouldn't it be nice
If we could walk together
Hand in hand, side by side
And I'd like to go
Back to your town
And to your home
Into your arms

Unto your heart
I give my everything
Sweet dreams of nothingness
Will fade with dawn

Heart ever still like the wind as it fades
Words but a lie, kind all the same
Voice ever sure as it rings through the sky
Brilliantly sound in harmony

Moon's silver light on the waves brightly shine
Pure like a prayer, clear like your eyes
Stars linger on in the sky as I dream
Tears overflow in loneliness

Wouldn't it be nice
If we could walk together
Hand in hand, side by side
And I'd like to go
Back to your town
And to your home
Into your arms

I see your smile
I see eternity
Sweet dreams of nothingness
That fade with dawn

  • @TheBandkanon Thanks so much!

That's exactly the angle I was going for when I wrote these lyrics (I actually started writing them out of frustration with the bizarre official lyrics used in the Distant Worlds concerts). The original Japanese ones are really opaque, poetic, and heavy on the imagery, so I wanted the English to have that same haiku-sort-of feeling while still being a pop ballad.

    So glad you enjoyed it!

  • I was actually SEARCHING for a version this distinctly close to the original.

Everyone else seemed to veer off to something else completely, but this is perfect. :D Thank you, so very much, for posting this.

  • This is beautiful!

    Well done.

  • this, is simply beautiful

    oh.....oh wow ;_;

  • oh so beautiful!!!

  • <3 I love this <3 Sooo Amazing <3
