Finally!
I was brave enough to show me applying foundation!
I have had so many people comment on how nice my skin is, and today I am going to show you that I don't actually have nice skin, but just a good foundation job!
I am the kind of person who needs coverage, but doesn't want my makeup looking too caked on.
There are many ways to apply foundation, many types. This is a simple video to get you started.

I would suggest... and many makeup artists suggest.... owning a couple of shades of foundation. One darker (to suit your summer skin) and a lighter shade (the shade you are without your tan). Then just mix them together as your tan fades. The other alternative is to use your regular foundation but use bronzer to darken your skin. It won't look as natural though.
I use either a brush or my fingers depending on time. If I am in a rush, I use my hands... clean hands! Just because i have a better feel for my face with my hands. I like the finish a brush gives you though.
And I think I prefer the mac concealer. But I really do alternate between both. The Napoleon one is a tad bit thinner and more comfortable for me to wear during the day. But the Mac has the power of coverage! So hard to say!!
It's really not a lot of makeup being caked. The moisturiser and primer are creams. So there's no masking anything there. The only thing that covers my entire face is my liquid foundation. Then I dot on concealer under my eyes, and stick foundation on any pimples/scars to cover. If it's just for the day, I skip the stick foundation.
OK, i love your vids. I have acne, should I use the foundation allll the time, or just when it's time to go out etc? And, how do you actually apply fake lashes?
I would suggest not wearing foundation all the time, or maybe opting for tinted moisturiser instead. The best thing for acne is to keep your skin clear, and not wear makeup that will block your pores. Some people suggest mineral makeup powders as the best option for acne prone skin. It made me break out even more though. I would suggest giving it a go, and see if it works for you.
I show how to apply false lashes more indepth in the Old Hollywood video. I will do a longer vid soon!
hey that was the best makeup video i have seen!! ... i use the same moisturiser and was just wondering if that can act as a primer as my skin is fairly clear and i don't want to be packing on layers of makeup, i want more of an unfinished natural look?
I think the best thing for people with clear skin is to use a tinted moisturiser (or just mix a couple of squirts of your moisturiser with an equal amount of foundation). There are some great sheer coverage foundations out there too. Mac has some great ones, and so do Prescriptives. Sheer coverage foundations are great to even out your skin tone, give your face a bit of a glow, but still let your natural skin shine through.
Thank you for making this! I have a very obnoxiouse T zone and alot of freckles. I was always wondering how to not make them so evident. Thankx for all your videos! Ive been trying out some of the eyes techniques and have been getting alot more compliments. So I owe that all to you!
It does make my foundation last longer. But visually I don't see a difference to how my foundation looks. It still looks the same. I wear foundation primer for the length I get out of it.
