Dodge Ball Skills

This is my friend Phil showing his dodgeball skills while at Shippensburg University. He winds up to throw the ball, somehow stops his arm momentum, jumps incredibly high in the air to dodge an oncoming ball, then resumes his throw as he lands. The opposing player caught the ball but this is still an incredible jump!!! Go Phil!!!

that was a pretty nice dodge but the throw wasnt hat good probolly cuz he was off balance but the dodge was nice enough

Your friend did alright anticipating the throw and jumping into a standard split-legged dodge. It looks flashy, but it's really just his reaction-timing that's good here.

However, this dodge isn't ideal because he sets himself up for a bad ending if he faced someone with a faster arm and one who could curve the ball upward.

Also you might want to edit out the mediocre throw at the end to keep the focus on his dodging skills if that's what you were going for in the video.
