:40 the artwork then was done by hand, but either really talented graphic designer or well educated ones. Recording artists didnt have any other choices in format so the format dictated the creative possibilities.
If you use say an iPod Touch or the ultra fantastic Cowon digital players that allow for multiple large art slideshows while your music plays you can enjoy the artwork or on your computer, you can setup a digital jukebox with huge artwork on screen if you're savvy enough to do it.
