Oh lord, it's gonna be freakin' AWESOME!

One more comment: I just noticed that his live vocals are just as impressive as they are on CD. It's remarkable!

Wow, I have not really gotten into the music of Yes (yet) but this is quite an impressive performance I would say! I'm so happy for Jon and all his good fortune. It is so well deserved.
It's also nice to know that he will continue with Glass Hammer. He has been vital to their new chapter in a long legacy of great work, and like most GH fans, I have come to adore the sound of his voice.

@mike28890 He has replaced Benoit! I'm seeing him play with YES in melbourne, australia!

Mr Davidson sounds very good. He has a good grasp of a stage presence & he is a 1000 times better than the clown Yes had singing to replace Jon Anderson. I would suggest after the Australian part of the tour,Yes work to get Jon Anderson back, and as well as Mr Davidson sings, try to work it out so that the two Jon's share the singing. At first glance, it looks like it possibly could work. The bufffon Benoit could never share a stage with Anderson. Remember who's shoes U R filling N U will do OK.

Is this the new singer? He's pretty good.

Jon, best wishes to you and Yes! I hope you can bring some healing energy to that band, they sure need it! And, don't forget your chums in Glass Hammer!! Cheers, Chuck

I was a Benoit David fan, but I like Jon Davison already. I will support him 100%. Always support Yes 1000% :) you'll never hear me bash ever Jon Davison, like some Jon Anderson freaks did...I already like the way Jon Davison sings Owner Of A Lonely Heart, and that is enough for me :)

You can tell that at no point is he pushing his voice beyond a range he can't really do consistently ala BD.Stage presence is also much better as well.No surfboard antics.Very ,very encouraging.Welcome to the band.I'm sure Jon will do very well.
I don't know who this singer is...but...he should definately have been picked by Squire instead of benoit. I like this guys' stage presence a lot more than Benoits'. That's all.

Jon Davison will front Yes on their Australasia tour coming up (NZ, Oz, Japan, Indo. Hawaii). He is actually a musician unlike Benoit who was a part-time singer and full-time upholsterer and mediocre Anderson imitator with an annoying stage presence. Davison's range is more akin to Anderson's, and I believe he plays guitar as well and can make dope-heads dream we are living in 1979 again. In addition, we can scream out Joooon! at shows, and it'll be accurate now.
