My first 12" shell! The Ti "Sponge" didn't hang for a long time, cus the Ti my supplier sold me is more like coarse sawdust instead of sponge.
Weight: 10,2 kg
Stars: 2 layers of 25 mm pasted D1 +15% Ti, pumped with 10% water, (Dried in 2 days on hot floor to get it ready for NYE. Probably why the glitter is kinda absent)
Burst: about 800g BP on puffed rice, with 155 grams of Slow flash booster.
Casing: Chinese paper, with 54 layers of gummed tape made of 60g kraft.
Lift: 900 grams BP with 5% dextrin.

And thanx to Ned Gorski for some good advices on the building of the shell!

  • not very long lasting but very nice effect!!! :)

  • @MrJBTEK Yeah. The plan was willow, but it took to much time to prepare enough in the little time I had, with a 2,4 litre mill! :p

Next year I have 2 x 5,5 litre jars to mill with =)

It's alot to do in christmas time, making twelves. 13 days, all from scratch, with that thin paper.

  • What size was that!?!

  • @HandMadeFireworks I updated the info =)

    12 inches.
