tune!

You said - Who gives a monkeys who sampled who anyway, some of the greatest hardcore record are made completely out of samples - and thats what I said. My point is, you can´t make a oldskool record, rip 20 choons off and then complain about being ripped off on a tune. Whether you´re Bizarre Inc, Slipmatt or Mark Ryder or not. If he just said so, well okay but if he really wants to complain then wtf? Nothing on his tunes, love them! But thats Oldskool ffs, rip and get ripped.
-
Bizzare Inc used plenty of samples in their tracks too, so your point is?
-
@Deegun78 Yes this remix came out in 1993, but the original mix on the Detroit house pressing came out in 1991
I think some people on here need to show Mark some respect,
I for one think the guy is a true hardcore legend & has actually earned some respect for his work in the rave scene
I wish I had that extensive back catalogue to my name that is for sure

yeah theirs was better for sure it had more energy but it would never have been without mine coming first ;) i dont mind that though it happens all the time as im not looking for the charts i can't deal with the pressure that comes with being too popular so i keep my head down and just do the vibes im liking at any given time
im currently finishing a big set of albums which include some old skool from ravealation and jungle events see it/hear it on my youtube/markryder

@markryder Alright then mate. All arguing aside for now, you def. mate some of the greatest old hardcore tracks to ever grace my ears, that I can't deny. whether it was 'knives' or you first, you did do it better.
What is up with the label though? are you only doing compilations now? cause the site doesn't explain much.

for those that say my label is a joke the underground keeps moving & changing im in an out of phaze with people who think they know where its all at but they just know what they like and so im not always in flavor because im moving with the underground flow our sound changes as we wont be ass kissers to purest arsehloes who think they know everything because they bought a few records.
check out whats coming
what ever you think i love the scene i have never left it and will always be true to it
-
ok i understand how it is with pop music always seeming to be the start and yes i sample also but being indemic in the uk underground im normally at the beginning of an idea rather then the other end after commercial hits playing with knives ripped from me but im only stating im not pissed about it as i know what i do in the scene
comments like "it samples NJoy" shows my point as that was me also yes you will say its not i understand what being underground is like as thats who i am
-
@markryder I hope your not the real ryder. Are you fucking kidding me? get off your high horse. Almost ALL old hardcore used samples. One way or another. If knives really ripped you off (which I doubt it did) then I guess they heard your song and liked it? I don't get why you get mad about that? because of the money they made? I thought you were in it for the music...
If this is the real ryder, your label is a joke now
This tune was released in 93.
Playing with Knives in 91..how could they have ripped your choon? And if so..who cares? How about the countless amounts of tunes ripped in this track? Its just the essence of oldskool..rip 2 fuck. Whoever knows where this loop comes from..somehow I can´t believe you´re Mark Ryder.
