How is multiculturalism more important than teaching kids how to balance a check book?

dude, if children live in a multicultural society they should be taught what that means and entails. They need that to understand the world around them. It's more important than filling in a checkbook, in the same way that teaching them heliocentrism is more important than teaching them how to write a poem.

You hit the nail on the head with your final comment. They label you crazy, make you docile and compliant with drugs so that you fight the urge to go against the grain. They tried it with me....they actually tried to have me committed to the hospital.....my whole life people say I'm crazy and thank science for that cause I do not want to called "normal".

I think it's possible to wake up after being indoctrinated your whole life. I always worried about getting all As and being well-behaved. Getting to the university, I saw that what we do there is just an extension of school. Only when people with supposed PhD's and "advanced knowledge" started doing the same old shit teachers had done all my life, did I realize that here I was expected to the same I'd done since grade school: sit and listen. I do it to finish my degree but do it passionless.
