Robin Braig, (track president) said they're possibly gonna have a race there after they repave it in 2012.

I read an interesting fact about what y'all are talking about. Did you know that in 1959 an Indy Car race was scheduled at Daytona on the 4th of July? That race got cancelled because USAC was concerned about the speeds. And that was in 1959 when the average Indy Car speed was about 175 mph. Oh yeah, another unrelated fact is that I like all types of racing, including NASCAR and IRL.

They'd put on a better show than the Cup cars. Probably a reason why they won't be on the oval (that and the speed of the cars).
