Can you imagine if he got all the way up there and there was no pencil for the logbook and he didn't bring one either? That would be a burn.

Nice spudgun, but i prefer to stay with my bigshot.
The grigri seems to run not very smooth on that rope. What was that?
For the cache: Seems pretty easy, a lot of good trees around to fix the rope.

As for using the grigri, I think that may have been the second time we ever used a grigri which probably explains the jerky rappel. For rappelling I prefer an ATC but you can't beat the easy autoblock with a grigri when you have awkward rappels or have to spend time hanging at multiple different heights on the rope.
