Aaron and his on-screen partner Vanessa Gray hopped on a Harley and headed to Mt Tamborine, 45 minutes from Surfers Paradise. A couple of years ago, Aaron discovered a great bar/restaurant called Will's Place, run, believe it or not, by Will Scarlet, a blues singer-songwriter. Each week Will's Place prides itself on featuring the best in local, interstate and international recording artists in an atmosphere that is warm, friendly, comfortable and inviting.

A selective menu with an extensive wine list and cocktails from the well-stocked licensed bar add to an evening that promises the best night out in the Gold Coast hinterlands, surrounded by the rich rainforest, beside a clear running creek.

Will's Place offers a dinner and show package with overnight or weekend accommodation.

Jon and Lynette Quinn opened Fudge Heaven five years ago. They offer 35 flavours of fudge, including chocolate, choc-mint, cherry ripe, lemon meringue and Turkish delight.

Their trademark is the adults-only fudge, made with real alcohol. Cowboy Fudge is made with butterscotch schnapps and Baileys, there's Tia Maria, Kahlua, chocolate rum and raisin and lots of Baileys flavours.

You can try before you buy. The fudge is made on-site and while Lynette says what makes their fudge so special is a secret, you can taste real cream and butter.
