I have been driving for Metro for 20+ years and I have to give this driver kudos for getting that bus out of there. I know a lot of drivers who would have just left it there the minute it got stuck the first time! Blocking traffic or not! Good job whoever you are!

I drive a bus just like that. The 257 and i got stuck that monday too in the Bothell area. And they are really hard to drive in the snow....they won't go anywhere in the snow, and are really easy to jack knife.

we were watching the busses and cars struggle up union on capitol hill. funny shit.

I sat and watched this from my window also. It tried to turn up the hill, but the back half kept sliding sideways from the ice, and it couldn't make the turn, and kept backing up and going forward over and over. It blocked traffic for like 10 minutes before it finally backed into the grass area. It was really funny to watch.
