In this video I show you how to make sure your Auto Tune is working, and to make sure that you've got your switch (if you have one) in the right position. This was done on a 2009 CBR1000RR ABS, with a TaylorMade slip-on, Bazzaz Z-Bomb, BMC Air Filter, and a full PC-V setup. Basically I bump the air/fuel ratio to about 20 (lambda to about 1.4'ish) by removing 30% of the fuel at idle. Don't do this for very long, as running this lean can destroy your engine after extended periods. You'll see that my PC-V is only removing 20%, and that's because the Auto Tune is currently configured to only allow 20% in either direction. This is a safe-guard for the people who don't install a switch. The bike wont leave them stranded if the O2 sensor goes haywire, because it will still run close enough to 1.0 lambda that you can at least get home.

  • @Sarksoul123456 - One step ahead of ya bro. I did that when I had the top end pulled off to install all the wiring. I didn't completely remove the PAIR system, but I capped the PAIR holes, and the holes in the air box.

  • hey men tap your clean-pair valve to have the correct afr the o2 sensor of your autotune read fresh air from your pair valve!
