  • I was introduced to the term appropriate during art school. You aren't quite stealing or copying, you are appropriating, and that is entirely acceptable. At least, in the art creating world.

  • This video should be featured. Definetly.

Very good Eric, I really don't understand why you don't have atleast 100 000 subs. People are missing out.

  • Soooo true. 5 stars.

  • true statement! I don't like copy caters =p

    STEAL DON'T COPY!

  • Great video man, this was very well thought out. However I noticed you didn't talk about artistic ownership in this video. And I know when we were talking about this in RL you were still trying to figure out your stance. Any luck?

  • I love your commentary on this subject, you are very insightful!

I also love the catcher in the rye end bumper thing. So good. <3

  • your outro....it looks like the cover of the Catcher in the Rye book I own ;)

  • Kind of reminds me of something John Green said (I think it was him) ... "Writers are thieves"

  • Dear Eric,

I want to have your children. The moments it becomes genetically viable, I'll give you a call.

  • Originality will never be dead!

    Just my opinion ;)

  • I really like this video. It kinda got repetitive, but your point was well elaborated with examples.
