  • jap cars - quicker of the line most of the time than german cars, most of the time more reliable (look at honda vtec engines, subarus, nissan etc) and jap cars are cheaper, can anyone find a german car wirh similar performance to a sti/evo/gtr's for a similar price?

  • I completely agree with you. For bang for your buck nothing beats jap. And the engine quality of alot of those cars is amazing.

Its the quality of all the other components and extras you pay more for in the euro cars. Im looking at buying a my10 wrx, but hell if i could afford it id go audi/bmw/merc anyday :)

  • Jap cars are ugly as fuck except the Nissan GTR

  • And how much is the m5? If I have the money for a m 5 and put it in my sti, i can push it around 650 horse. So

  • Both very nice cars. I would always expect the Subaru to win at short distance. However, when the BMW gets into longer gears, it will hunt down almost anything trying to get away.

  • @fcmilsweeper9 Same lol. But if i had a average budget. I'd have something like a Subaru Sti over a 325 bmw which probably costs about the same (if both brand new).

  • @02rich

Nah, Ive driven both, I would put BMW and Porsche far above ANY car company. Period.

  • @fcmilsweeper9 As i said, if its luxury, feel etc you are after go with the german cars. However, for the sake of arguement, lexus? ISF perhaps? I'd take the M3 over it anyday, but its still an asian car with speed and comfort.

  • @02rich

Can anyone find an asian car as nice (features, gadgets) and (handling, feel, etc) as nice as a german car? No.

  • @Stifledsubmission Yeah, i agree

and the hatchback doesn't seem that cool.

  • @Konformation07 tru, but was nowhere near a subaru or evo in speed, considering brand new they cost around 30k and hit 0-60 in 6.7ish i believe wheras the subaru and evo cost around the same brand new, and have are much quicker in performance, but if its luxury that your after, you are right to stick with the german.

  • @02rich 02-06 VW Passat W8 4Motion it ran with the best of them
