  • These guys are boss cool; I have their autographs on one of their albums that I got as a prize for donating to a local radio-thon in the 80's.

  • What can I say? The Riders are perfect. Met them some years ago. So much fun! Hey, Too Slim...........play your face! I do.

  • I ABSOLUTELY love this. Thank you to the guy who posted it on our accordion group. Would love to play like that. Brings memories of my childhood in the 50's when Roy Rodgers was my idol and I love the Son's of the Pioneers and others like them.

  • Riders in the Sky fans! Hear Too Slim, Ranger Doug & Joey's appearance on the Dave's Gone By radio show, Sat Aug. 20, 2011, 10am(MT) on uncradio. c0m. If you miss it, hear it in the archives at davesgoneby. c0m.

  • How can you not like this? Riders are the best! I do feel sorry for Too Slim when he has to play his face. That's gotta hurt!

  • remember saturday at 2pm on AM radio? theater of the mind!!!!! with their faithfull steed LIGHTING!!!!!!

  • Does anyone remember the saturday morning kids show these guys used to do? I used to watch it all the time. This and ninja turtles.

  • I would like to see all the famous living yodelers get together on one stage and do a big song together yodeling taking turns switching back an forth....would be cool !!

  • i wonder what they would sound like with drums

  • This totally trumps all the sad, miserable, angry, sound-like-every-other-wannabe... "Stars"... in the world of 'what music has become'.

Riders prove beyond any doubt that you can be unbelievably talented - and Still make it fun!

    Thanks guys!

(interesting side note: All three hold advanced degrees - and Woody Paul has a PhD in Theoretical Plasma Physics from MIT)
