Testimony of Michal M. Hethmon, Genral Counsel for the Immigration Reform Law Institute, before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, Dec. 14, 2007. Hethmon mentions the affiliation between IRLI and FAIR (Federation for American Immigration Reform) at the begining of his testimony. Afterwards, he expanded on this point in an interview with us, saying that he worked for FAIR for a number of years untl 2005 when FAIR saw the need to form a seperate legal focused on litigation and state and local legislation. In both his testimony and our interview he affirms that he wrote the controversial immigration resolution that polarized Prince Wiliam County.

  • A key point here is, "discrimination" is NOT illegal. Only certain, narrowly defined forms are wrong.( ie: race, sex, etc.). It must be clarified;...under the law...., Mexican is NOT a race. It is a nationality. Latino is NOT a race..It is an ethnicity. This bullshit comes about, when politicians try to play the race card, while pandering for votes. Let's just stop calling them illegal aliens, and call them the more appropriate...undocumented democrats!
