The owner of this property is really great, so tomorrow I am going to refill this hole and landscape it a bit. I will video it for you. Today, I was Bottle Digging Grizzly! Tons of great Minnesota Farm Relics. I love this stuff! To me, this is more valuable than gold or silver, but I sure would like to find some old coins! None so far! But, it is a great Fall day and I was digging and having a great Grizzly Fall day doing what I love!

  • That Old Pump Is Awesome!!!

Its So Cool That It Still Works!!!

  • @MNdigger I know! It kept my dogs from getting thirsty and I hope to remove that tree so it stands for another 150 years! According to my quick search, it dates back to the 1870's! So that is even better!

  • Great video ! Congrats on all your finds and good luck on your next hunt !

  • That pump is a cool part of the farm's history. There are people over here in the UK paying big prices for these old relics. Well done on your finds, and Good hunting :D

  • @GrizzlyGroundswell I know. LOL

  • @GrizzlyGroundswell What a coincidence! I have an example of that, I found a badge/medal that says B.M. & P.I.U. of America which stands for Bricklayers, Masons & Plasterers International Union of America and I did a little research and found out that one of the presidents or chairmen of that organization was from my town!

  • @MichaelSwan66 Hey I did not know about the nails but that makes sense. Did you know it was usually the third post in? Actually the home I live in now was moved off the original homestead of two bachelor farmers who cached their money in mason jars. When they moved the house, they found in taking down the gate a fence post safe with silver and gold coins valued over $700 in the 70's! I wish they cached it in the walls! You never know! Get Grizzly!

  • @planejet42 You know Don was just saying the same thing today holding the handle of that pump when he came by to update me on another property we are asking permission to hunt. You know, here in the Grizzly Groundswell those stories are exactly what I try to recover. To me they are more precious than silver and gold. Those that had the Pioneer Spirit and gave it their all to aquire that American Dream. These are the people who are my hero's. I love to detect and recover their story!
