Hmm, this is interesting, I've never heard of Systema before, but I'd like to know more about it, if anyone can tell me some of it's origins, principles, and techniques behind it I'd appriciate it.
@Saforge Systema is a martial art devised from traditional Russian fighting arts. It mixes influences from modern martial arts as well. It is the primary self defense taught to Spetzsnat. Two of the guys in this video are elite Russian special ops guys: Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhial Rabko. Systema also utilizes a profound understanding of how to manipulate human weaknesses based on psychology, balance and a complex understanding of the nervous system. It is a very scientific form of fighting.
I was watching this video and didn't belive it aswell, then I started to train it and have been for 1 year now. It's amazing how those small oves can make you fall, it's real I promise you . But I think some of the attackers are really trying to "kill" or hurt. but their falls are real I bet you!
I'm not saying that this isn't real. I'm saying that a lot of parts in this video show overacting. I agree that systema is awesome and effective. However, too many parts of this video show techniques that are both overly lacking in power and that are pretty sloppy. I have a lot of respect for martial arts and this one in particular, however, I am not a fanatic and I saw a lot of stuff in this video that is questionable. I am posting a video response of what I consider authority on this.
