  • @macsdestroyspcs2 No problem, as I said, Im not an expert on the subject. Search some videos of autorotations. Pilots practice them and there are several pretty good videos on YT. Its pretty impressive to watch!

  • @param3dic85 Oh that makes sense. I thought the engine just died... haha! Thanks

  • @macsdestroypcs im pretty sure he said "he didn't have enough to auto" or autorotate, an emergency landing procedure in a helicopter. a certain amount of altitude is required to perform this. not trying to sharpshoot you, just fyi.

  • @motoballz Thanks

  • I know that the 47 is just a civilian model of the Bell Sioux, but I call it the fish bowl chopper.

  • 1:44 "He didn't have enough throttle there." HE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH ENGINE SMARTY!!!

  • @kelzclive too low for a safe landing, better in case of engine failure is a good altitude for a stabilized autorotaton

  • The pilot didn't give that motor much warm-up time. Those old motors need to reach normal operating temperature. The Bell 47 is a good reliable machine but you have to respect its limitations too.
