  • Our sirens are tested the first Saturday of each month too at 1:00PM. Is this in Michigan? If it is, where?

  • No, this is in Nebraska. They do the test at 11am

  • @dualactionsurgilator FYI NSP also does it at noon most days there was once where it was sounded twice in a row 1st time was a severe thunderstorm 2nd time was noon

  • @garyhstorms10 Nope. Hastings actually takes care of their older sirens.

  • @garyhstorms10 Nope. Hastings actually takes care of their sirens. Except a Thunderbeam that looks like it's just about ready to fall off it's pole.

  • This would sound creepy during a Tornado Warning will the Thunderbolt 1000Ts

    be replaced soon

  • Single tone Thunderbolt T1000

Dual tone 5/6 port Thunderbolt T1000

    Federal 2001-SRNB.

    Would be my guess.

  • Minnesota thest their sirens statewide the first Wednesday of the month @13:00.

  • @squiddy7863 Sorry for the extremely late reply, I'm from Valparaiso In, The 2t22's are located on US 20 and IN 39, and a mile east of US 35 by a Meat and Produce store just East of Michigan City In. The allertors test date has changed to the first sat of the month at 1PM now.

  • @chaserchick87 I live in Scottsbluff and they only test ours once a year yet we are 2nd in line to having the most tornado reports in the state. That is really lame. I suggested Scottsbluff County test more often, but they said that it wasn't necessary. Now they are trying to pass a law where the trains won't honk their horns in Scottsbluff.

  • I'm gonna guess (which has been mostly confirmed in other comments)

    Dual Tone FS Thunderbolt

    Single Tone FS Thunderbolt

    FS 2001

May be more sirens, but that is what I hear.

  • A LOW pitched 2001?! If it's lower than a thunderbolt, there's something wrong with it! (Which, in most cases, is a good thing... sorta.)
